The New York Knicks will face the Indiana Pacers for the Conference Finals Game 2, and all eyes will be on Jalen Brunson.
Luckily, they are entering the game with a clean injury report. The Knicks fan base must be at ease given Brunson’s recent ankle issue and KAT’s hand injury in the previous round.
Both players have performed well despite their injuries, and their continued production will be crucial for New York’s hopes of advancing to Game 2.
However, during the Knicks Game 1 loss, Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns played his part.

In the first quarter, the Knicks took a slight lead with a score of 36-34. They extended this lead to five points in the second quarter, finishing the half with a seven-point advantage.
Although the game extended into overtime, the Pacers’ pivotal challenge altered the course of the match. They successfully challenged an off-court ball incident involving Brunson and regained possession.
The Pacers capitalized on this opportunity and secured their victory with a final score of 138-135. Brunson finished with an impressive 43 points, while Tyrese Haliburton contributed 31 points for the Pacers.
Jalen Brunson Got A NY Street Named After Him

While the Knicks are putting their absolute best on the court, New York City is showering them with love, too.
As NY made its much-anticipated return to the EC Finals after 25 years, the city’s excitement was on a whole new level.
Jalen Brunson, who played a crucial part in the Knicks’ success this season, has had West 11th Street temporarily renamed to “Brunson Boulevard.”

The city’s dedication to honoring the Knicks doesn’t stop with Brunson. The temporary co-naming of streets has extended to other key players. Josh Hart got his name on the stretch between 6th Avenue and West 3rd Street, which is Josh Hart Street.
Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby have also been recognized with their own street names. Mayor Eric Adams highlighted the Knicks as a symbol of New York’s resilience and passion. Moreover, he stated that this honor is a way for all New Yorkers to come together and show their pride in the team.
