Aaron Judge smashed his 12th home run of the season against the San Diego Padres. The Yankees captain continues to dominate at the plate, and he’s all set to have a great season. Judge had a great game against the Padres, but his home run ball had many hands on it.

Fernando Tatis Jr. was unable to make the catch, but one fan managed to get his hands on the ball. Surprisingly, he dropped it while celebrating, and the fan nearby snagged the ball. Sadly, the fan who caught the ball first was too busy celebrating to realize he had dropped the ball.

The moment was too big for the fan as he was in disbelief when Aaron Judge’s ball came his way. Eventually, the fan who snagged the ball returned it to the original catcher. Throughout this entire confusion, Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay imagined the fan’s thought process and narrated it live.

“Watch the guy in the gray jersey, ‘I’m going to take this and put it right in my pocket nobody saw it. I just love the casual way nobody’ll see this,” Michael Kay said.

“Only the YES cameraman saw it,” analyst Paul O’Neill pointed out.

Judge carried their team forward in crucial moments. The Yankees had a great victory against the Padres after their offense opened up and smashed 12 runs. The Padres were restricted to only three runs.

Aaron Judge is averaging .412 at the plate with a .503 OBP and a 1.275 OPS. He has 34 home runs and 56 hits in just 136 at-bats. Judge is going in a strong direction, and he’s ready to have another MVP season. The Yankees are ranked No. 10 in the Week 6 MLB power rankings.
