It’s a great time to be Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s teammate. The Oklahoma City Thunder’s star treats his teammates with a luxurious gift after getting the MVP nod.

Shai has officially earned the title of Most Valuable Player for the 2024-2025 NBA season. To celebrate this achievement, he decided to treat his entire team to Rolex watches.

Recently, a video went viral showing the rest of his teammates showing off their fancy gifts while Gilgeous-Alexander was all smiles in the background.

However, it was not the only reaction to this year’s MVP award.

The two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo expressed his disbelief at the announcement. The Greek Freak joked whether ESPN analyst Sham Charania’s account had been hacked. Additionally, SGA’s win came at the expense of heavyweights like Nikola Jokic and Giannis himself.

Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is on cloud nine after becoming the latest NBA MVP. He now joins an elite club with icons like Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

Recently, Shai shared his excitement but clarified that he has a different goal in mind. While the Most Valuable Player tag sounds fascinating, his eyes are set on winning an NBA championship.

Something both Durant and Westbrook were unable to achieve during their time in OKC.

His MVP honor is well-deserved, thanks to a phenomenal 2024-25 season in which he led the league in scoring with impressive efficiency.

His incredible performance helped the Thunder rack up a stunning 68 wins this season, earning them the top seed in the Western Conference. This winning mindset set him apart from other MVP contenders like Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

With the MVP title in hand and a scoring title to boot, Shai is looking ahead. When asked what’s next after overcoming this milestone, he focused on what has always driven him: winning.
