The Minnesota Timberwolves showcased an impressive effort during their Round 1 playoff face-off against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, in Game 5, they grappled with major shooting challenges that unfortunately spilled over into their Round 2 clash with the Golden State Warriors. Upon discovering this shooting slump, Anthony Edwards had a reaction that was nothing short of priceless.

The Timberwolves recently faced off in Game 1 of their Round 2 playoff series against the Warriors at Target Center. Unfortunately, the Timberwolves encountered yet another shooting slump in this critical matchup.

The Timberwolves have only hit 12 of 76 three-point attempts over the past two games. When a reporter brought up this troubling statistic during the post-game interview, Edwards appeared utterly stunned. His jaw dropped in disbelief, leaving him momentarily speechless. But then, in a humorous twist, he burst into laughter, adding a light-hearted moment to the otherwise tense situation.

The Warriors showcased their dominance in Game 1 against the Timberwolves, winning 99-88. Jimmy Butler played for 41 minutes and contributed significantly with 20 points, eight assists, and 11 rebounds. Buddy Hield also made a notable impact, scoring 24 points, along with three assists and eight rebounds.

Edwards played for 42 minutes in Game 1, scoring 23 points, along with two assists and 14 rebounds. Naz Reid also made a significant impact, contributing 19 points, one assist, and five rebounds. However, despite their efforts, the team was unable to overcome the Warriors’ dominance. In the post-game interview, Edwards took responsibility for the loss.

“You know when you lose a game it’s always… this the reason you lost, i don’t realy look at that, I just look at every last one of us gotta play better individually, including myself.” Edwards said.

The Timberwolves will play game 2 of their Round 2 playoff series against the Warriors at Target Center.
