Buddy Hield delivered a phenomenal performance in Game 7 of the first-round series and helped the Golden State Warriors eliminate the Houston Rockets and secure a spot in the Conference Semifinals. Due to his significant contribution, Hield was rewarded with a starting role in Game 1 of the second round against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As the Warriors prepared to face the Timberwolves on Tuesday night, an unusual situation occurred moments after tipoff, which caused an unexpected delay. Fans and players were puzzled as the game was briefly paused. The cause of the disruption soon became apparent.

Hield was spotted on camera wearing shorts in black and blue, which did not match the rest of the Warriors’ starters, who were all in black and yellow. It seemed that in the heat of the moment and excitement for the game, Hield overlooked his uniform coordination.

Once the error was recognized, Hield made his way back to the locker room to make the necessary change. During this brief pause, both teams remained on the court, waiting for Hield to return dressed appropriately.

Jimmy Butler contributed 20 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Stephen Curry played a limited 13 minutes, scoring 13 points with one rebound and one assist. Draymond Green added 18 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and two assists. Naz Reid provided a strong spark off the bench with 19 points, while Julius Randle added 18 points, six assists, and three rebounds.

With the win, the Warriors got a solid boost while leading the series early with 1-0.
