Paul Pierce offered some insight recently into why some NBA players date white women.

Pierce was co-hosting his “The Truth After Dark with Paul Pierce & Azar” show for an episode that was published on Tuesday. Co-host Azar Farideh asked Pierce why NBA players get with white women.

“Why do you feel like men — especially NBA players — get with the white women? Is it because they’re easy, quote unquote?” Farideh asked.

That teed it up for Pierce, who gave his explanation.

“I honestly think that maybe because they appreciate maybe more, and they apologize more,” Pierce theorized.

“They don’t mind being held accountable,” Pierce added.

Is there any numerical data that backs up Farideh’s assertion about NBA players dating white women? Or is this all just based on pure gossip and speculation? Who knows. But people sure will have fun debating Pierce’s reply. And we know there are some fans who won’t like what he said.
