Accusing the UFC of mistreating him, the post from Pereira’s account even spoke about a potential retirement. However, all of these were later found to be the work of some hacker. Meanwhile, Magomed Ankalaev has claimed responsibility for hacking Pereira!
Magomed Ankalaev has been going off on Pereira for a long time now. Ever since his win, the new UFC light heavyweight champion has thrown shades at Pereira. Adding to the trend, the Russian once again mocked the former Brazilian champion.

Now, this statement is supposed to be sarcastic from the champion. It is not clear if Ankalaev really had a role in the hacking. Meanwhile, with all the ongoing drama, Pereira seemed quite clueless about what was going on.
Alex Pereira Clarifies Meltdown Post Against The UFC
The UFC realm was shocked to find out that Pereira was going off against the UFC. In a recent update from his social media, Pereira wrote about being disheartened by some of the UFC’s decisions. He also stated that, given the circumstances, he might consider retiring. Just as the situation looked to go out of hand, Pereira came out with a clarification. Moreover, he mentioned that his account was hacked, and there was no tension between him and the UFC.
“I don’t even know what’s going on. I have a great relationship with the UFC,” said Pereira.
