Josh Hart’s wife had a blunt reaction to the stunt Jaylen Brown pulled on her husband during Wednesday night’s Eastern Conference semifinals series game between the New York Kicks and Boston Celtics.
Hart and Brown were called for double technical fouls early in the third quarter of Game 5 between the Knicks and Celtics at TD Garden in Boston, Mass. The two players got tangled up on an off-ball screen during a Knicks offensive possession, and Brown appeared to grab Hart’s junk.
Hart responded by shoving Brown, which led to a minor scuffle. You can see the video here.
Hart’s wife Shannon shared her thoughts on the incident during the game, which the Celtics won 127-102. She thought Brown’s actions were “weird.”

Hart scored a team-high 24 points in New York’s loss. He had a very eventful night.
Prior to the scrum with Brown, Hart was inadvertently elbowed in the face by Celtics big man Luke Kornet. Hart was left bleeding profusely from the face.
The Knicks will return home for Game 6 on Friday night. It has been viewed as a foregone conclusion that they will win the series now that Jayson Tatum is out with a devastating injury, but the pressure is still on. The Celtics really have nothing to lose, while New York desperately wants to avoid a Game 7 in Boston.
