As per the injury report, Gobert is not listed with any physical issues, and he will play against the Warriors.
However, the Timberwolves are lagging behind the Warriors heading into Game 2. The Bay Area team currently leads the series 1-0, and the next matchup will be crucial for both teams.

The Timberwolves entered their playoff series as favorites against the GSA. However, they were initially considered underdogs in their first-round matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Anthony Edwards was a standout performer in that series, averaging 26.8 points per game. He received significant support from teammates Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, and Rudy Gobert. All of whom contributed key performances that helped the Wolves secure their series win over the Lakers.
Minnesota HC Acknowledged Excessive Physicality Against Rudy Gobert

While both teams advanced to the next round of the playoffs, more and more physical play has been involved.
Minnesota coach Chris Finch expressed his concerns about the excessive physicality in the NBA playoffs. His concern was particularly regarding how his player Rudy Gobert is being treated on the court.
“On defensive rebounding, [the Warriors] do a lot of fouling, holding, shoving, pushing, and tackling Rudy [Gobert]. That’s clear. We sent a bunch of those clips in to the league. In fact, I’m not sure I know another player in the league with Rudy’s pedigree that is allowed to be physically beaten on the way he is. And so we gotta address that one way or another,” Finch said.
However, reporters also asked him if Gobert needed to retaliate in the same manner. The head coach noted that he tried pushing them away and would surely take a stand for himself if this continues.
