
The Denver Nuggets will prepare to face the Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 2 of the Western Semifinals. While everything looks in place for the Nuggets, fans are curious about Nikola Jokic’s status.
As per the injury report, Jokic is fit and fine and will play against the Thunder. However, DaRon Holmes is the only Nuggets player on the list who is out for the season with an Achilles injury.
However, the Thunder will meet Denver, boasting an impressive 68-14 record. They are looking to bounce back after narrowly losing 121-119 to the Nuggets.

This game saw the Nuggets overcome a significant 15-point deficit at the end of the third quarter. Though much thanks to Jokic for his incredible performance.

Nikola Jokic Made NBA History During Game 1

The Nuggets started their second-round playoff series against the Thunder on a strong note despite a challenging first half.
After trailing by just one point at the end of the first quarter, the Nuggets fell behind by ten points at halftime. However, they rallied in the second half to secure a win with a game-winning shot from Aaron Gordon, marking his second clutch performance in the playoffs.
Nikola Jokic’s performance was a real standout during the game. He delivered an outstanding game with 42 points, 22 rebounds, six assists, one steal, and three blocks, all while facing foul trouble late in the game.

Interestingly, Jokic became the first player ever to tally 40 or more points, 20 or more rebounds, five or more assists, and two or more blocks in a playoff game.
In support of Jokic, Gordon contributed 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook added 18 points and two assists off the bench.
With this victory, the Nuggets took a 1-0 lead in the series and are eyeing a 2-0 lead in Game 2, scheduled for Wednesday night, before heading back to Denver for Game 3.
