The New York Yankees are at the top of their division, but they still have several issues to fix. The team’s pitching rotation and bullpen struggled with multiple injuries in the offseason. While they added some extra pitching depth to the team, not all the additions seem good enough.
The Bronx Bombers had a disappointing World Series after all the hard work in the regular season. The franchise would not want to repeat such a disaster this season, as they hope to make it to the World Series again. Yet, they need to address their pitching issues.
The Yankees have high hopes on Devin Williams, but he seems to be falling apart. Recently, radio host know as Jon from Maspeth ripped the pitcher for his slump and poor performance.
“Devin Williams, you know how you face him? You trade his ass. You get his bum the f*****g hell outta here. He cannot handle New York, we’ve seen this over and over, he’s not gonna be a good player here. Was a good player in Milwaukee. We got five losses and four of them are on his name,” Jon said.
“Our rotation is thin, and we only have one and a half game lead in the division. I’m just so fed up with this, all our dam losses, trade him! I’m sick and tired of this dam thing, trade him,” Jon yelled.

Jon went on for a little more than a minute as he seemed frustrated with Williams. Some fans are also upset with Williams’ performance, but they hope things get better.
Yankees Bats Shine While Pitching Rotation Has Loopholes To Fill

The offense has been productive throughout this season. The Yanks had a great run last night against the San Diego Padres after scoring a dozen runs. Aaron Judge, Ben Rice, Trent Grisham, and several other sluggers have been incredible at the plate.
The team’s bullpen needs improvement, especially with Williams’ slump. The Yankees parted ways with Nestor Cortes Jr. and received Devin Williams. Their expectations are high, and they hope to turn things around soon.
The Yanks have dropped to the 10th spot in the MLB power rankings for week 6.
