Despite his short stint in St. Louis, Furcal had his best moments with the team. He was part of the 2011 World Series squad. He won the NL Rookie of the Year Award in 2000 with the Atlanta Braves. Furcal also had a strong stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2006 to 2011.

Furcal was a dependable shortstop who was well-known during his time. Throughout his 14-year career, Furcal held a batting average of .281 with .346 OBP and .402 OPS. He hit 113 home runs while playing for four teams. Furcal recorded 587 RBIs with 314 steals in a total of 1,614 games.

The Cardinals’ star had a decent career throughout the years, but unfortunately, his off-field activities have cost him now. Some MLB fans are in disbelief to learn about Rafael Furcal’s arrest. Sources say investigators will continue the investigation into Frucal’s case. St. Louis is having a decent run this 2025 season, remaining second on the table.
