Walker Buehler and the Boston Red Sox had a fiery game against the New York Mets. Buehler came back to pitch after he was released from the injured list. The pitcher took to a great start, but he was forced to leave the game after being ejected.
Buehler had a heated argument with umpire Mike Estabrook. Buehler recorded a strike, but Estabrook called it a ball. The pitcher started to argue with the umpire, and he was tossed from the game along with manager Alex Cora. During this incident, Mets slugger Francisco Lindor was rooting for the umpire to eject Buehler.
Recently, a post on X claimed that Walker Buehler told Juan Soto he looked happier as a Yankee and Francisco Lindor flipped.

Walker Buehler Did Not Tell Anything To Juan Soto
Buehler was playing his game and was frustrated with the umpire’s call. Apart from that, the Red Sox pitcher had not told Soto about being happy with the Yankees. The post on X comes from a New York Porch Sports parody account.
Buehler was trying to do his best for the team during an intense game against the Mets. Lindor stole second base after he got hit by a pitch. The slugger was probably upset after being hit by a pitch. It turns out that Buehler and Lindor had some beef previously. The Red Sox pitcher was ejected for the first time since 2021.

Buehler was certainly upset as he took a jibe at Lindor after the game. The pitcher called out the slugger for rooting for him to be ejected. When asked about the situation, Buehler said he would have probably done the same as Lindor. However, he mentioned that the post was perhaps due to his whiskey.
“I said my piece — sponsored by Buffalo Trace a little bit. We’re all competitive. It is what it is at that point. I’d probably do the same if I was him,” Buehler said.

Buehler holds a 4.00 ERA with a 4-1 record. After returning from the IL, he hopes to pick up the pace for the Red Sox.
