The rugby community is in mourning following the tragic passing of Castres Olympique winger Josaia Raisuqe.

The rugby star represented Fiji in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, winning silver. He was only 30 years old.

Josaia Raisuqe meant a whole lot more than a great rugby player to the people of Fiji, whom he supported by giving back to. Castres Olympique president Pierre-Yves Revol described him as a “radiant young man” and “a pillar of the Fijian community.”
