Jimmy Butler had a playoff performance that he soon would like to forget.

The Golden State Warriors saw a playoff exit at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves. While there was a lot of chatter around ‘Playoff Jimmy,’ he failed on all fronts to deliver the best.

However, now that the Warriors are nowhere in the conversation, Butler is still catching heat from former NBA stars.

Udonis Haslem went on a lengthy rant against the former Miami Heat superstar during the latest First Take segment on ESPN.

“I think Jimmy Butler gave what he gave but Jimmy Butler didn’t have anymore to give against that team… Jimmy Butler is not that unstoppable guy like those guys,” Haslem said.

However, ESPN’s official Instagram account posted the quote. But it was Dwayne Wade’s like on the post that got eyeballs rolling.

Fans on social media were in disbelief and went on to trash Wade for liking the analogy against Butler.

While it was not long ago when Haslem spent words to appreciate Butler, he took a complete u-turn just hours later.

And when NBA fans on the internet caught Wade liking the post, they were far from impressed.

“Udonis really said, ‘Jimmy’s the best leader I’ve ever been around, ‘ and D-Wade probably reading that like: ‘So those emotional locker room speeches meant nothing to you?’ Heat culture just turned into a group chat with read receipts and hurt feelings,” a fan wrote.

“Just for context, UD said right before this sentence that DWade was unstoppable. Which is why he probably liked it lol These pages just be throwing grenades for reactions,” another fan commented.

“Jimmy was more dominant in Miami than Wade ever was, lmao. He had LeBron carrying him. He’s not even better than Harden all time,” a third one added.

“Jimmy’s that guy, Wade can’t even be mad,” another comment read.

“Niccas switch up on Dey potnas so fast I see ts err day,” a user added.

Though his performance did not justify the hopes that were on him, the war is still not over for him.
