The Denver Nuggets came all guns blazing against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the Thunder looking to wrap things up in Game 6, their plans were spoiled significantly by the Nuggets. Putting up one of the grittiest displays, the likes of Nikola Jokic and Co. got themselves a 119-107 victory. And the never back down mentality of the Nuggets could very well be perceived through how Jamal Murray played.
As usual, the star of the night for the Nuggets was Nikola Jokic. Playing for a solid 41 minutes, Jokic dropped 29 points, coupled with 8 assists and a whopping 14 rebounds. On the other hand, Murray was unsure to take the field in Game 6 due to illness. However, after the game went underway, not only did Murray play, but he also made sure that his team went over the line.

Despite his illness, Murray played 42 minutes and accounted for 25 crucial points. Apart from this, he also chipped in with seven assists and eight rebounds. However, with the Nuggets enforcing a Game 7, significant contributions from others too came in handy.
Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray & Christian Braun Take The Nuggets Over The Line

Apart from Jokic and Murray, Nuggets guard Christian Braun also had a stellar performance. He chipped in with 23 points while getting the rebound 11 times with five assists. Now, looking at the Thunder, they portrayed a sorry tale for themselves.

Having dominated the league right from the beginning, the Thunder were the favorites to win the game. Unfortunately, other than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, nobody could chip in properly. Playing as the lone warrior, Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 32 points in 35 games, the Thunder star also accounted for six assists and three rebounds. Although Chet Holmgren dropped 19 points, it was not enough to combat the Nuggets’ resilient show.
