The NBA is heating up as it is reaching its business end for the season. Coming into the Conference Semifinals, the Denver Nuggets took on the Oklahoma City Thunders. While the Nuggets had the better of Oklahoma in the opener, things got really interesting in Game 2. The Thunder made a thumping comeback, leveling the series 1-1. Now, with Game 3 posing as the initial tie-breaker, both the teams are eager to gain the upper hand.

The Denver Nuggets lost Game 2 by a whopping margin of 43 points. On the contrary, the Thunder will be immensely pleased with their 149-103 victory. While the Thunder had dominated the regular season, staying on the top, the general consensus was that the Thunder were the favorites. But they were rocked in Game 1 as Nikola Jokic dropped a monstrous performance, dropping 42 points with 22 rebounds.

Thankfully for the Thunder fans, they responded aptly. During the game, the Thunder dropped the highest score of 87 points in a half in NBA history. Not only that, but they also managed to neutralize the triple threat of Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, and Jamal Murray. Thus, with the all-important game coming up, it will be interesting to see how things pan out as Game 3 gets underway.
