Caitlin Clark put on a show on Sunday at her old stomping grounds, and the Indiana Fever star seemed to enjoy every bit of the experience.
The Fever played their second preseason game of the season on Sunday whey they faced the Brazil national team at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa. That arena is the same one where Clark played her college games for Iowa.
Clark finished with 16 points in the Fever’s 108-44 win. The sold-out crowd of roughly 15,000 fans went ballistic every time Clark made a basket. Clark thanked her supporters after the game.
“What a day in Iowa City. Can’t say thank you enough to everyone who made it special for myself, but also my teammates… FEV SHOWWW,” Clark wrote on X.

Clark made 4-of-6 three-pointers in the game. One of those shots was an insane 35-footer than reminded fans of her days with the Hawkeyes. You can see the video here.
Clark, who was named WNBA Rookie of the Year last season, was one of the best players in women’s college basketball history. It was a great idea to allow Hawkeyes fans to relive some of those memories even with Clark playing for the Fever, and it seems like she enjoyed it just as much as they did.
