The 2025 WNBA preseason is officially upon us and Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has hit the ground running.

Clark, the 2024 Rookie of the Year, heads into her sophomore season with renewed optimism after the Fever re-tooled their roster, including the addition of guard Sophie Cunningham, who previously played for the Phoenix Mercury.

During the team’s media day on April 30, Cunningham and fellow blonde Lexie Hull posed for photos, which were subsequently posted on Cunningham’s Instagram account for her 280,000-plus followers.

One of those followers is Clark, who decided to have a little fun with the blonde, faux-tanned duo.

“Little less tanning,” Clark wrote. “A little more bball, ladies.”

Clark is notorious for trolling her current and former teammates on social media, as well as her other friends around the league.

Earlier this year, she poked fun at her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Jada Gyamfi for some glam photos that were shared. Like Cunningham and Hull, Clark playfully encouraged Gyamfi to focus more on basketball.

Clark and the Fever open the preseason on Saturday night against the Washington Mystics with their regular season opener coming on Saturday, May 17, against noted rival Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.
