Brian Cole still inspires awe over what might have been for Mets, 25 years after tragedy

Brian Cole was to be a foundational piece for the New York Mets, growing beside David Wright and Jose Reyes, but 25 years ago, after leaving his first spring training in Port St. Lucie, Brian was killed in a single-car accident at the age of 22.
