The New York Knicks pulled off a stunning 91-90 comeback win over the defending champion Boston Celtics on Wednesday night at TD Garden. Despite trailing by 20 points, the Knicks stormed back in the fourth quarter with a determined effort that flipped the game in their favor. For the Celtics, it marked the second straight game where they surrendered a 20-point lead.

With this victory, the Knicks now hold a strong 2-0 lead in their series against the reigning NBA champions. This win also cemented a historic mark for the Knicks, as they became the first team in NBA playoff history to overcome a 20-point deficit in back-to-back postseason games.

Josh Hart led the charge for the Knicks, finishing with 23 points. He made nine of his 15 shots from the field and knocked down three of his six attempts from beyond the arc. Hart added six rebounds and three assists, along with two blocks. Notably, five of his six rebounds came in the fourth quarter.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a dominant showing with 21 points and 17 rebounds, along with a block on the defensive end. His performance marks the first time a Knicks player has recorded such numbers in a playoff game since Carmelo Anthony accomplished the feat back in 2011.

Mikal Bridges had 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Jalen Brunson scored 17 points and provided seven assists, while Mitchell Robinson chipped in six points and eight rebounds.

Much like in Game 1, shooting was a major problem for Boston in Game 2. The Celtics missed 75 three-pointers across both games of the series so far.

Jayson Tatum had another rough outing in Game 2. He finished with 13 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists. He went just five for 20 from the field and made only one of five from three-point territory.

Jaylen Brown contributed 20 points with six rebounds and one assist. Derrick White delivered 20 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Jrue Holiday added 10 points and five assists, while Payton Pritchard came off the bench with nine points. Kristaps Porzingis was limited to eight points and four rebounds in just 14 minutes of action.
