The NBA trade window is getting hotter day by day. While the current season is still not done, teams are trying to rack up the best possible talent for the upcoming season. And one such name doing the rounds is none other than Cooper Flagg. The college basketball phenom has been turning heads and is expected to take the NBA by storm. And while the Boston Celtics did emerge as a probable suitor, the possibility was soon debunked by GM Brad Stevens.
In a recent update, the news of the Celtics having a meetup with Flagg took the internet by fire. With the anticipation rising for potential fireworks from the Celtics, Brad Stevens poured cold water on the possibilities. While it meant Cooper Flagg might not be available, Stevens surely promised some interesting movements.
“Will there be fireworks on draft night? I can’t imagine. But again, who knows? I wouldn’t guess with us, no…. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see movement continue to happen across the league. But as far as us and moving up to those levels in the draft, I would guess that that is probably not on the table,” Stevens said.

Surely, with a bitter taste in their mouths after signing off from this year’s league, the Celtics will be looking to strengthen their squad. Meanwhile, with rumors swirling that the Celtics are breaking up their core, several teams are keeping a close watch.
Suitors Emerge As Boston Celtics Look To Break Up Team’s Core

News has been coming in about the Boston Celtics reportedly looking to do something new. And that includes breaking up their core. With such news making the rounds, suitors have already begun to line up. Reflecting on the matter, Marc Spears from ESPN named two such teams that might be interested.
“2 teams I’m keeping an eye on for a couple of these guys perhaps is one is the Houston Rockets. And then another team is the San Antonio Spurs.”
