Manny Pacquiao is returning to the ring after a four-year layoff, and the odds for his fight are not in his favor.
Pac-Man is set to face Mario Barrios on July 19 in Las Vegas, Nev., for the WBC welterweight championship. SportsBetting.ag has posted odds for the fight, and they have Pacquiao as an underdog.
Here are their odds:
Manny Pacquiao +340
Mario Barrios -500
Barrios is a big favorite; one would have to wager $5 to win $1 if he were to win the fight. The +340 odds for Paquiao means a $1 bet on Pac-Man would pay out $3.40.

Pacquiao has not fought since losing to Yordenis Ugas in 2021 via unanimous decision. Pac-Man is 62-8-2 in his professional boxing career. He had won three fights in a row prior to his loss to Ugas. Pacquiao has won world championships in eight different divisions during his career, which is more than any fighter in history.
A politician in the Philippines, Pacquiao is running for a senate spot in his home country. He was expected to make an announcement about his upcoming fight following Monday’s election.
The Pacquiao-Barrios fight was first confirmed by WBC President Mauricio Sulamain earlier this month.
