There’s been a lot happening in the NBA Conference Semifinals lately. And the Aaron Gordon-Alex Caruso drama is the latest addition to the saga.

During Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals, drama unfolded on the court as the Denver Nuggets faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

The temperature reached a boiling point when Gordon and Caruso found themselves locked in a heated battle for position during an inbound play. Despite giving up some size to Gordon, Caruso stood his ground and managed to disrupt the Nuggets’ plans. 

In a matter of moments, he knocked the ball out of bounds, and later, he intercepted another inbound pass. 

He sent a clear reminder that every play counts, especially when the stakes are this high.

As the game progressed toward halftime, the atmosphere grew even more electric with the Thunder clinging to a slim lead. It was a do-or-die situation for the Nuggets, who were fighting to keep their season alive and force a Game 7.

Each possession felt monumental, and Caruso’s defensive prowess truly shone through, as he became a key figure installing the Nuggets’ momentum. 

Amidst all this intensity, eyes were on Aaron Gordon, who had been performing phenomenally for the Nuggets in the playoffs. With an average of 17.8 points per game and impressive shooting stats, he had emerged as a vital player for Denver.

Aaron Gordon Gives Big Update On His Injury

While Aaron Gordon and Alex Caruso caught a bit of heat on the court, the Nuggets came through with a big 119-107 win against the OKC.

The heroes of the night were none other than Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Christian Braun, who fueled the team’s strong performance on their home court.

However, amidst the celebration, there was a cloud of concern hanging over Gordon, who appeared to hurt his left hamstring late in the game. As he chased after a loose ball, he lunged to make a play, and unfortunately, it looked like he might have tweaked something. 

After the game, Gordon addressed his injury, which came as a big relief for the Denver fans.

“I feel ok. We’ll see. I’m going to start the recovery process now and make sure I’m getting ready for Game 7,” Gordon said after the game. 

As they wait for updates on Gordon, Nuggets fans are hopeful that he’ll be ready to go for what’s sure to be an electrifying Game 7 this Sunday at 3:30 p.m. EST.
