During Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder, Tyrese Haliburton appeared to be in top form on the court. There were no signs of discomfort or injury throughout the game. However, concern began to rise following the postgame press conference when Haliburton was seen walking with a noticeable limp.

Before Game 3, ESPN insider Shams Charania shared a new update regarding Haliburton’s health status. According to Charania, the star guard disclosed that he was dealing with a “lower leg thing.”

He had a lower leg thing. I’m told he has an ankle issue. He’s dealing with soreness in that ankle, and the Pacers have said that it’s a non-issue. He’s not even on the injury report. And for his part, Tyrese Halliburton has downplayed any concern with an injury. He said he’s fine,” Charania said.

Despite the speculation, Haliburton himself has brushed off any serious concern. Charania made it clear that Haliburton has been trying to ease fans’ worries.

He’s good to go publicly and privately, especially with three days in between game two and game three. But he’s got that tape on that leg,” he added.

Prayer up Tyrese,” one comment read.

“Not this again… he’s about to go off,” one supporter wrote.

“”First Tatum now Halliburton,” one fan added.

That’s scary for Indy ngl anytime it’s a ‘thing’ I’d be worried,” one fan commented.

Another fan joked, “The scariest of injuries, a ‘thing.’”

Tf is a lower leg thing,” one fan commented.

All eyes will be on Haliburton’s ankle during Game 3. Whether this “thing” is truly nothing or something more will remain to be seen.
